Indiana Medicaid Waiver
The thing most families don't know: Medicaid can help pay for this.
Indiana runs a Medicaid Waiver program that can help pay for assisted living. It is called a waiver because it waives the usual rule that Medicaid only pays for care inside a nursing home, and instead pays for support in a community setting, which for many people is a better place to live.
Eligibility depends on income, assets and level of care need, and the rules are less restrictive than most families assume. Plenty of people who were told they "make too much" turn out to qualify once the whole picture is on the table.
Our owners are licensed administrators who specialize in the Waiver, and they will walk your family through eligibility for free, whether or not you ever move into an OPS community.

Because a phone call converts better than a number does. We think that's backwards. Families deserve to know whether a community is even in range before they spend an afternoon touring it, so our starting rates are on this page.
The apartment, all utilities except phone, three chef-prepared meals a day, housekeeping and weekly linens, personal laundry, the activity calendar, scheduled transportation, 24/7 onsite care staff and medication management.
Higher levels of personal care, based on a nurse assessment, and incidentals like salon services or a private phone line. We quote the care level in writing before move-in, so the first invoice never surprises anyone.
No. Medicare covers medical care and short-term rehab, not room, board and daily assistance. The Indiana Medicaid Waiver, however, can help pay for assisted living, and we help families determine eligibility at no cost.
Rates are reviewed annually and can change with costs, and a resident's care level can change if their needs do. We tell you before it happens, and we explain why. No silent increases.
